Randall's Trucking Opportunities
Digest gets new look
Unique design delivers two magazines in one.
Tuscaloosa,
AL. (November, 2003) – In your recruitment efforts, you know a targeted
message is important. You may be looking for both owner-operators and
company drivers, but what appeals to one may not appeal to the other.
That's why beginning in January, the Trucking Opportunities Digest will
be divided into two sections and presented in a format not seen before
in the trucking industry. One half will be called Owner-Operator, the
other Company Driver. Each half will have its own cover and dedicated
editorial content.
"This unique approach will appeal to the truckers who pick up the magazine,
as well as the advertisers who support it," says Scott Miller, TOD Owner-Operator/
Company Driver publisher.
Each month, 130,000 TOD Owner-Operator/Company Driver magazines will be
hand-delivered and displayed by Truck Stops Express at 1,400 premier truck
stops nationwide, including Petro, Pilot, Love's and select TA Franchise operators. Special display
boxes will showcase the Owner-Operator and Company Driver sections side
by side. Five thousand copies will be mailed to owner-operators at their
homes through TOD's affiliation with Overdrive magazine, the nation's
only home-delivered business publication for owner-operators.
Randall Trucking Media Group, publisher of TOD Owner-Operator/Company
Driver, will promote the magazine's new design on eTrucker.com, through
e-mail promotions to 80,000 owner-operators and company drivers, on the
Overdrive Top Ten Countdown radio show, in Motor Media phone frames at
premier truck stops and in CCJ magazine.
