Arboleda named senior editor of Truckers News en Español
Adds content specifically targeting the Hispanic trucking
community to industry’s only national magazine for Hispanic truckers.
TUSCALOOSA, ALA. (February 2005) – Truckers News en Español has named Jorge Arboleda senior editor of the monthly publication targeting Hispanic truckers. A native of Lima, Peru, Arboleda brings 17 years of journalism experience to Truckers News en Español, most recently as local news editor for El Día, Houston’s largest daily Hispanic newspaper. He also served for 10 years as editor-in-chief of two general interest magazines in Peru and for two years as an adjunct professor, teaching International Relations at Florida International University in Miami.
“Jorge’s experience in writing to the Hispanic community will be invaluable as he helps shape the editorial content of Truckers News en Español,” says Linda Longton, vice president of editorial for Randall Publishing, which publishes the monthly magazine.
