Construction Equipment Consumption up 8% in March

In March, consumption of new construction equipment increased 7.8% compared to March 2014. Additionally, first quarter sales are up 18.1% year-over-year compared to Q1 2014.

 

As a result, equipment consumption is now 73% of the peak March volume set in 2006. And for the first time since 2008, equipment sales are above the March 10-year average.
