Over the past few months, we have been working hard to roll out EDA’s new customized sales territory filters. Randall-Reilly clients who subscribe to our robust data platform will now have a streamlined process for creating individual searches and watches in EDA for unique sales territories and markets.
Using custom sales territory filters, users can simplify sales lead distribution and territory performance reporting. These filters allow users to refine the results of any search or watch by region, specific market, branch, or even by sales territory.
This new filter provides you, the user, with better control over EDA data.
Why add the new feature? We know from our work with clients that data has to be responsive, powerful, and actionable. Your sales reps have limited time as it is. This new filter allows us to remove a roadblock and improve the targeted lead generation functionality to a higher level.
Before you get access to this innovative new feature, there are a few things you need to know and do.
- Sales territories can only be assigned by state, county, or ZIP code. Users will need to obtain an up-to-date listing or chart of the sales organization before getting started.
- The sales hierarchy will also be added to Prospect Profile reports and Excel files downloaded from EDA Online.
- Administrative users will be required to attend training before the tool is activated on an account, so set aside some time for training.
- It’s FREE! Yeah, that’s right, we don’t think you should have to pay more to access this new streamlined feature.
