Randall-Reilly leads b2b industry in ad pages

TUSCALOOSA, ALA. (June 2011) – Randall-Reilly’s trucking and construction print publications enjoyed a nearly 20 percent increase in advertising pages in 2010 over the prior year, according to year-end totals compiled by IMS/The Auditor and reported in a recent issue of min’s b2b. While 15 b2b publishers saw triple-digit increases in ad page counts, Randall-Reilly led the way with 1,754.46 additional pages across the 15 Randall-Reilly titles IMS tracks. None of the company’s direct competitors made the list.
“We provide our customers with a broad suite of products covering all aspects of the trucking and construction industries,” says Mike Reilly, chairman, president and CEO. “Through the difficult market conditions of the last couple of years, we’ve remained dedicated to producing quality products that serve our readers and our advertisers. Thanks to the support of our customers, that focus has paid off.”
A driver shortage in the trucking industry drove big gains in the company’s 14 recruiting publications, led by titles such as Big Rig Owner and Best Driver Jobs which saw a more than 80 percent and 60 percent increase inpages, respectively. Commercial Carrier Journal, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year, and Truckers News, also enjoyed increases.
Randall-Reilly’s construction division also performed impressively. The company’s flagship Equipment World saw a more than 11 percent increase. Total Landscape Care jumped 12.6 percent and Aggregates Manager increased more than 2 percent in a very difficult market.
